SymbioTec GmbH is a company with the goal of developing and marketing innovative products for therapy and diagnostics of life-threatening disease, such as cancer. Our range of products comprises optimised derivatives of naturally occurring proteins and peptides, especially histone derivatives. Histones are a normal part of the innate defence systems of all higher life forms.

This group of agents is capable to attack tumour cells of various origins as well as microbes with multiple antibiotic resistance. By using the body’s own protein-derivatives for the development of a completely new class of drugs, we expect to revolutionize the treatment of cancer and infectious diseases.
