Histone H1 molecules have evolved to recognise and destabilise cell membranes of various pathogens with an aberrant membrane composition like tumour cells and microorganisms. Our first product ONCOHIST has the same properties as the body’s own histone H1 molecule.
These properties render it superior to conventional cancer therapeutics with the advantages of selectivity; low inherent toxicity; lack of inducing resistance; low immunogenicity. We expect histone-based therapy not only to offer patients an improved quality of life but also a chance of a real cure.
