SymbioTec has initiated the procedure for obtaining the designation as Orphan Medicinal Product in Europe for its drug ONCOHIST for the treatment of AML (acute myeloid leukaemia). The pre-submission meeting with EMEA (The European Agency for the Evaluation of Medicinal Products) was very encouraging.
